NewsRemember DINA? Now we have irixboot too.

From the description: "irixboot is designed to quickly configure a disposable VM to boot a specific version of the SGI IRIX installer over the network on an SGI machine without a whole lot of fuss. There is no need to manually extract CD images from an IRIX machine or compile kernels to get EFS support, configure BOOTP, etc.2

docker-irixinstall is a docker image with support for installing SGI systems from the net with IRIX.

Debian Stretch-slim is used as parent image for the container. The container will be about 150Mb big. Alternatively, Ubuntu 16.04 will also work.
