FreeBSD: terminal emulators in ports tree

FreeBSDIn the old days, people used terminals to access computers. A terminal was a physical box with a keyboard, screen and some connectivity to a computer (serial port, network or other port).

Currently, the following terminal emulators exists in the ports tree
  • comms/wy60 - Curses-based emulator for the Wyse 60 terminal
  • devel/py-pyte - Simple VTXXX-compatible terminal emulator
  • net/c3270 - Full-screen curses-based remote login to IBM mainframes
  • x11/evilvte - VTE based, super lightweight terminal emulator
  • x11/x3270 - 3270 Terminal emulator
  • x11/xterm - Terminal emulator for the X Window System
OK, there are some more, but they are more geared for giving you a shell in X, not for emulating a specific old terminal.
