zfs on Linux

GNU/LinuxMaybe I should play with ZFS on Linux? First there is ZFS on Linux, with packages for Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu and more.

The FAQ needs to be read, booting from ZFS, use a 64-bit system, 4k disk drives, and probably more.

Other interesting info: An Introduction to the Z File System (ZFS) for Linux, The Sorry State of CoW File Systems,

There are HowTo's: HOWTO install Debian GNU Linux to a Native ZFS Root Filesystem, Andy Botting's ZFS on Linux, Debian 7 (Wheezy) ZFS Server, DYI NAS with Debian Jessie + GlusterFS + ZFS (+iSCSI), How to built a fully encrypted file server with ZFS and Linux to avoid data loss and corruption,

Related info: OpenZFS distributions,
