U2F - Universal 2nd Factor

SecurityU2F is an open authentication standard that strengthens and simplifies two-factor authentication using specialized USB or NFC devices based on similar security technology found in smart cards.

U2F security keys can currently be used with Google accounts as a method for two-step verification and is supported by Google Chrome since version 38. The FIDO Alliance hosts the standard. Yubikeys by Yubico is one example of products that supports this standard.

U2F Zero is an open source U2F token for 2 factor authentication. It is implemented securely. It works with Google accounts, Github, Duo, and anything else supporting U2F. The latest version uses key derivation and has no limit on registrations.
